The first CLEO Multiplier Event was a public lecture organized by the Central European University on May 11, 2022.
Professor Constantinos Iordachi invited Markus Meckl, Professor of History at the University of Akureyri, to present and discuss with the students the case of Latvia which had refused the idea to create the figure of a national hero.
